So, I have only a few hours to decide whether to go register for classes at Forsyth Tech.
A deadline is a powerful thing. It’s the point in time when one cannot pass through without setting up a whole new set of consequences. High noon, so to speak. Damnation, where did I leave that single-action.
I doubt I’ll go through with returning to college. I figure that I can learn what I need on my own, and spare the $520. But then there’s the inability to list the new bit of education on my resume. Is it worth $520, plus 36 hours of classtime each week?
Maybe my time would be better spent looking for employment and studying for a return to university. Thoughts?
UPDATE: I didn’t register, and I got a call this week for another short-term bit of contract work. Oh yeah, and I’ve got another job interview lined up.
